ESPN is never going to have everything


They won't have radio broadcasts. They won't have a lot of the small conferences. And they would not be restraining any conference from doing business elsewhere. If they accumulate most of it, it would involve many separate contracts with many entities, and not any of them would cause restraint on any of the others.

Now Congress could be put into a position to challenge it and change laws, but I think they can argue their way out of it. I think it's a moot point because college athletics has grown so much ESPN can't afford all of it.
